We’re kicking off the 7th Annual Operation: Christmas Wishes! 🎄

I’m thrilled to share that we’ve partnered with both Brighton and Pinckney High Schools to expand Operation Christmas Wishes to all four Early Learning Centers in Ypsilanti for the first time ever: Ford, Beatty, Perry, and Puentes (the Spanish immersion program). This year, we’ll be gifting hats, gloves, and a special wish-list gift to every child at each center. If we reach our fundraising goal, we’d also love to provide a school-wide gift for each center and stock the classrooms with shelf stable snacks.

We surveyed teachers at the schools to learn what they need most. One school dreams of a sandbox and sand toys for their playground, while another could use supplies for a sensory room and new sports balls for their playground.

Between Brighton and Pinckney, we have 64 high school students rallying together to support 921 kids—the most we’ve ever reached! To be honest, it’s both incredibly exciting and a little scary, but this community has always shown up in amazing ways to help us reach big goals.

This year, our fundraising target is $31,250, which is about $35 per child. With your support, we can make it happen!
